I had not noticed that to be honest with you about the sword.
The paper however...:) It was my first real try with Pergamenta, and the stuff is amazingly awesome to paint on. It even looks fairly period. One day I'll do this plate on properly absorbant watercolor paper so that the color comes out the way its supposed to. :)
