Good weekends

Much fun was to be had by all this weekend(even though I was only there for BorderSkirmish on Saturday) oh yes. Fought from 9Am-ish to nearly 2PM with aid from the waterbearers. My fighting was really good, surprised the hell out of myself. Authorized case: yay for 2 swords, boo for my lack of skill with 2 swords. The melee was not so good but then im essentially useless in a melee so who cares right? Got to turn traitor and fight on the Northshield side, which meant bright pink duct-tape. One good bruise, several little bruises. My sari was a hit, everyone seemed to like it as much as I did and it will definitly be coming out again as soon as i fix the choli by installing buttons or snaps or something better to hold it on. I nearly flashed the populace and that my friends is not cool.
Someone will have to explain to me eventually why I always seem to wake up at 3:30 AM after I stop fighting(provided I fight for more than an hour or 2) shaking so badly everywhere I can barely move. I do not enjoy this reaction at all nor the nausea and lower digestive problems that always seem to accompany it.
One bad point to an otherwise glowing event...

Middle of the night shakes
Date: 2006-06-25 10:00 pm (UTC)What I've found with myself is, I think, similar to many. I get done, I'm hungry, I have something to eat but I can't seem to eat much. My theory is the body REALLY WANTS simple sugars and etc. but the stomach is crashed from drinking a lot of fluids. So about 7 or 8 my body wants a full meal. But now I'm a meal behind and have put out many times the normal energy, so about midnight I've got serious munchies for something that isn't sugar.
You might simply be getting a serious crash for not enough blood sugar, and it might be as simple to cure as a 2 AM power bar or something like that.
