Sunshine...

Okay, it's 5:40 am...Yes I am still up, I ate dinner but no I haven't slept. I've been working on 2 research projects, one is mine to do myself but the other one I have to do with a partner. I found out tonight that my research partner who shall remain nameless, is COMPLETELY clueless when it comes to writing a research paper. I just spent the past oh 6 hours trying to fix something that's broken beyond repair. I am to the point where I know what is going to happen

I've spent the last oh hour or so watching and listening to a video clip from Voyager. The one in which Seven and the Doctor sing "you are my sunshine". This song has made me cry for years but, when I watched this and saw the melting, god i love you look that the doctor gives Seven it kinda hit something inside. Makes me wonder if anyone ever looks at me that way.

Back to the song though, there are a few people who I can count on to cheer me up at any time...3 men (ladies you can wait) in particular who bring sunshine to my life. Greg, Richard, Chris...I love you guys.

My mom, who died when I was 20, sang that song to me all the time. I can not watch that clip. I cry when I hear the song. And 7 of 9 reminds me of my mom on emotional levels.
