Winter

So, with all the rain here near every day...I was wondering if winter ever really came to this crazy country.

It's been snowing a little bit the past couple of days. I've been pretty happy with the flurries, as I love to watch it snow from the privacy and warmth of my own home. Oh FYI, riding one's bike in the snow, not the greatest of idea's ever. But it wasn't ME who rode into a parked car yesterday. Hehe. So this morning I wake up and there is a good inch of snow on everything.

Wicked Awesome.

I had about an inch of snow on the deck this morning as well. So you're looking at pretty much the same scene you'd see if you were here in illinois. Sounds like winter there (at least so far) isn't much different than the winter here is. You're not missing anything. If anything, you win, because this year when it's cold, you'll have a seriously hot husband to curl up with.

It's fairly rare to have snow here, mostly they tell me it rains and rains and rains... so I'm double lucky this year. Maybe even triple, after all...Boy's mother is taking him for Christmas Break. :)

I know what you mean about riding in snow. Worse is trying to ride after it ices. I end up walking most days after an ice storm.
